Keynsham Town First Team currently play in Western League Division One, which is step 10 of the English football league system (Step 6 of the National League System). The First Team includes many local players who have worked their way through the Junior sections at the club.
Keynsham Town are delighted to announce that John Allen has been appointed First Team Manager for next season (2017/18). John will be joining us from Wells City, where he has been part of a successful management team since moving there from Cutters Friday. He is already well known around Crown Fields, as he manages one of the club’s Girls teams.
After the excellent progress we have made over the last 2 seasons on the field, Chris King and Sean Day have reluctantly decided to step down from their managerial roles. However the committee feel that John is an excellent replacement, and would like to thank Chris & Sean for their dedication and hard work since they were appointed in September 2014. We are also pleased to announce that First Team Coach Russell Holt will remain at the club and will be John’s Assistant Manager.
