Keynsham Town were founded in 1895. We first played in the Bristol & District League and progressed through the Bristol Combination, Bristol Premier and Somerset Senior League and won the Somerset Senior Cup in 1951-52 and 1957-58.
We were elected to the Western League in 1973 but were relegated three years later in 1976. Since then we have been promoted to the Premier Division three times and relegated three times. We won the Somerset Senior Cup for the third time in 2002-03 and reached the 5th round of the FA Vase in 2003-04.
The First Team currently play in Western League Division One, which is step 10 of the English football league system.
We have three senior sides in all – First Team, Reserve Team and Third Team, along with two under 18 teams and of course an excellent Junior section covering many age groups.
The Reserves play in Somerset County Division One East, with the Third Team in Bristol and Suburban Division Three.
All home games are played at the AJN Stadium, Crown Fields, Bristol Road, Keynsham, BS31 2BE. The pitch is a synthetic 3G artificial turf for all weather use.
